The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the systems are safe, energy efficient, cost effective, compliant with codes, and fulfil design intent and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
| Area | Tasks |
| Design & Planning | - Prepare detailed HVAC designs (load calculations, equipment sizing,
ducting, and piping).
- Select appropriate HVAC systems—VRF/VRV, AHUs, FCUs, chillers,
cooling towers, etc.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical & Plumbing
teams to ensure integrated design.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, schedules.

- Monitor site progress and resolve issues related to HVAC works.
|
| Technical Evaluation & Optimization | - Perform HVAC load calculations (heating, cooling, and ventilation).
- Energy modelling & optimization to reduce electrical and cooling
loads.
- Identify cost effective and sustainable options (e.g., efficient chillers,
heat recovery, variable speed drives).
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes / standards (e.g. NBC /
ASHRAE / local regulations).
|
| Quality & Compliance | - Ensure HVAC systems meet safety, ventilation, and indoor air quality
requirements.
- Maintain documentation (drawings, manuals, O&M instructions).
- Implement testing & balancing, performance verification.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (e.g. refrigerant usage, emissions).
